Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well! Whew, this has been a super busy week at work. Why does it seem like we have to "pay" for our holiday Mondays with extra work over the next 4 days???????????????????????? I am so happy that tomorrow is Friday and I can enjoy another lovely weekend.
Thought I'd do a shoe post tonight. Seems like I'm always highlighting silky dresses and skirts, but I do put a lot of thought into my shoes, bags, and accessories, as well. I've been browsing online and came across the Lorissa pump by Sam Edelman and I am drooling over it! Studded peep toe pumps? Sign me up! This shoe is edgy, yet sophisticated and it looks drop dead gorgeous on some of the bloggers that I've seen it on. Only thing is, my boyfriend told me that it's way too crazy and he doesn't like it.
Now, I buy and wear whatever I like, and I don't always agree with him about my fashion choices, but this shoe IS kind of out there, a definite departure from most heels I own. It's a crazy fashionista shoe, but is it too crazy to wear? I'm on the fence about purchasing.
What do you ladies think?

I personally would not wear them myself. But that doesn't mean they can't look hot done right.

ReplyDeleteNope, why would I wear these to work, especially since I work in a bank??? That's like wearing a business suit to a club on a Saturday night!!!!

ReplyDeleteI do like the idea though- the simple tan pump with killer heels.
I love those shoes and I would totally wear them. I usually like to spice up a simple outfit with unique shoes or accessories. I definitely wouldn't wear these shoes with a bunch of loud and bold patterns or prints on my outfit.. but I love them!

To be completely frank, I hate it. I think the studs are simply tacky and I personally would not wear it.

I saw those shoes too and I was thinking hmm.... that is a strange pair. It felt like a powerful weapon when you are mad at someone, haha :-) Not for me but it is definitely fun.

studs are bold and tasteful when underplayed. these really look like some skin disease on the cow hide...
DO NOT purchase. These will turn heads but for all the wrong reasons.
Buy something that is uber comfy if you want to spend money and wear daily - so you feel extra special daily.
Anonymous, don't worry, I didn't purchase these, LOL. Not because I think they're hideous, because I do like them, but they just aren't practical for my every day life and they're too expensive to justify since they will rarely, if ever be worn.

I would wear those in a heart beat. Life is too short not to. Just make sure its the proper occasion and go. my boyfriend doesnt always like my stuff either, but he knows i do so it works out.

These shoes are hideous. Cannot imagine where you would ever wear them and not get strange stares.
