Just dropping by to say hello. Hope everyone had a great weekend. I'm very fortunate in that mine will be continuing into tomorrow, as my office will be closed in honor of President's Day. I just LOVE long weekends and wish they weren't so few and far between.
Anyhow, it's been a relaxing couple of days, and I've managed to do some serious scoping of springtime fashion on the web. I've found so many items that are now on my wish list!!!!
One designer that I really adore is Tracy Reese. She has such unique items in a wonderful variety of colors. The attention to detail is impeccable, as well. Even her Plenty line is pretty darn cute. I am seriously crushing on this blue striped dress I just came across on her website.
Pretty reminiscent of last year's Speckled Ink dress sold at Anthropologie, but a bit more vibrant and cute, in my opinion. The length is just slightly longer, too, which was the main reason that I passed on the Anthro version last year.
Speckled Ink Dress from 2010
Another pretty dress that I'm lusting after comes to us courtesy of Suzi Chin Maggy Boutique and can be ordered from Nordstrom's website. This dress is so delicate and feminine with so many amazing details! I just love the lace bodice, rosettes and beading. The color is listed as "coconut," so I'm not sure if this is a true white or more of a cream colored garment, but it's breathtaking either way.
Enjoy the rest of your evening and let me know what you ladies think of these dresses!:)

I still love the speckled ink, which I got finally, although I find the asymmetrical hem (which doesn't show in the product image) it's greatest flaw. I think I'll make an underskirt for it for spring!
ReplyDeleteI can totally see the white dress with your chanel handbag, hmm?
I did like the Speckled Ink, but I wish it had been about 2 inches longer and a more substantial material, as photographed in the catalog. Making an underskirt is an awesome idea!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou're an enabler. I am ordering the white dress!

It's a beautiful late 1940's, pink cotton with a side zipper, triangle cuffs, collar, and neckline, and a row of covered buttons going up the front. This dress is a keeper.
