Hi girls, just dropping in on this freezing cold Tuesday evening to say hi and share this adorable new fashion find with everyone!
I just adore this sunny yellow and cream frock from Anthropologie! It doesn't have a place in my life at the moment, seeing as it's about 20 degrees here in NYC, but it's fun to think ahead to sunnier, warmer days, isn't it?

Aside from this item, I've been really disappointed with the dresses from Anthropologie this fall. I haven't seen anything in the longest time that really calls out to me. I'm hoping that this slump ends quickly, because I could use another Anthro fix right about now.;)
Have a great evening and stay warm!

Oh cute! It's like a Bottega Veneta one Carey Mulligan wore this spring:

It will be very nice to think of springtime once the holidays are over and the long dull winter sets in! (I think Christmas should be moved to February, personally, 'cause that's when we really need it...)
You're so right, this dress does have a similar vibe to the Botttega Veneta version.
ReplyDeletePlease, my mind is already on spring and summer. I cannot even believe we're only in mid-December. The snow and cold is just beginning.;/
I saw this new dress too and was very curious. cant wait to see it on bloggers!
ReplyDeleteUgggh, it IS freezing here!!! I cant imagine wearing it now, but I'd be so into wearing this in the spring...really cute!

oh my that dress is so darn cute .. ystday all day i was day dreaming about spring .. haha .. nice to know that I am not alone .. then during the weekend we had very good weather here .. I was so happy to dress up like summer :)
ReplyDeleteI added this dress to my wishlist this morning too! I agree, Anthropologie has not been tempting me too much with their dress options lately, very unusual for them. In the last few weeks I've only added the Sidestepping Dress and the Esmerelda to my wishlist, and I'm bit dubious on both of those in some ways too. But I have no reservations about the Sun Shade. It looks perfect :)
ReplyDeleteThis dress is so adorable! A bit more spring that I'm feeling as Christmas approaches but still wishlisted none the less. It makes me think of Anjali of goldenmeans since she's been wearing a ton of sunny yellow lately!
ReplyDeleteThat dress calls out for a vacation down south. It's minus 20 degrees here but that's celsius. Let's just agree that both places are COLD.
ReplyDeleteI saw that dress last night and immediately added it to my list o'needs! Gorgeous, sunny, and just so perfect! LOVE!
ReplyDeleteWow! This dress is stunning and reminds me of Spring! I love it! Can't wait to see reviews on this. Added to wishlist!
ReplyDeleteEveryone is raving about this dress. I must go to Anthropologie soon to see what all the fuss is about...and to try on other things :)
ReplyDeleteHope you're staying warm!

It's actually almost 80 here and has been for about a week now. Too bad you don't live in the desert southwest because you could wear that dress now!
ReplyDeleteJacquelyn, I am SO jealous of your weather! Oh, to be able to wear pretty little dresses such as this one all year long.:)
ReplyDeletei agree that anthropologie's fall season dresses were really blah this year... not very girly or whimsical at all. but i DO love this happy dress. have you seen it in person yet? i'm waiting until i can read a review because i'd like to know exactly how yellow the yellow is in real life...
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you, it has been quite hard to find a pretty and must have dress this fall. I got a gift card for Christmas and I'm honestly struggling to find a dress to spend it on since many of the items that I bought from my wish list have been canceled.
ReplyDeleteI just came back from Anthropologie and I wasn't impressed with the quality of the Sun Shades Dress. The shoulder straps of one of the dresses were coming totally undone. The yellow stripes are just strips of fabric sewn to the dress with the fray edges. Not exactly how I had picture the dress to be!
