Tuesday OOTD

Hey girls, hope your week is going well so far. Did any of you scoop up some amazing sale items from Anthropologie today?? I'm definitely sitting this sale out, but I'd love to hear what you bought!

I'm getting kind of antsy, as Anthro has been slow to add new items onto their website...I'm looking for more gorgeous fall dresses, and I'm kind of underwhelmed, if not downright disappointed, with the flimsy few new releases of late (aside from my gorgeous Babergh Dress, of course). Are any of you feeling that way, too?

Since I'm too broke to buy anything this week, I did some "shopping" in my very own closet and revisited a dress that I bought off Ebay back in the spring. It's a Floreat dress and I can't for the life of me remember the name, but I thought I'd snap a few photos, as it's such a gorgeous dress.

In this next shot, you'll notice that I paired a bright blue shrug with this dress for more coverage at work. I loved the interplay of colors between the bold blue and the fiery orange appliques on the dress.

Have a great evening!

  3. Love the blog. Just wanted to mention that I think the dress is called the Krasna dress: http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=930030&navAction=jump&navCount=

  4. Beautiful! I got the circle the globe skirt in navy blue. I couldn't pass it up for that price.

  6. I looked up the Krasna Dress in the Feb 09 catalog. But Anon beat me to it. I tried it on at the Fresno CA store. It didn't look nearly as good on me as it does you. It fit perfect, but the little keyhole showed too much of ME.

My Phlox and Coral Coat went into the mail and back to Anthro today. :(

  7. Laura, I had to put a cami under the dress myself. Too much of the girls were showing, LOL.

Sorry about the coat. Are you doing an immediate exchange or do you have to wait for the credit? I'll tell you, even the zero was baggier than I would have liked, so size down as much as possible.

  9. i agree, the blue and orange toegether are beautiful! what a great dress for the warm weather months! and i'm also feeling pretty blah about about the lack of new arrials, but i have a suspicion that anthro is going to dump a HUGE load of pretty things on the site soon. but by that time, the free shipping gig for anthro card holders will be gone. lame!

  10. Thanks, Aimee!

I TOTALLY agree with you...Anthro is going to screw with my budget big time, just in time for my free shipping to go away...the only things they've been adding lately are sweaters and coats. I wanna see some dresses!:)

  11. I was just thinking that the US free shipping is due to end soon (I think I read too many Anthro blogs!) and then they will flood the site with new releases... Cynical much?!

The UK site has had quite a bit arrive this week already, I was quite shocked that a lot of it is the same as what is arriving in the US but also pleased that the site seems to be catching up a bit now.

I went a bit gaga the other night over the Pattern Makers Coat on the US site, I'm already saving up for it in the hope that they bring it out over there! That and the Kirklees Sweatercoat : )
